Cardboard packaging has specific storage requirements to preserve its quality and its shape. Its strength and its behaviour are affected by external factors. To ensure optimal conditions, follow these recommendations:

• Suitable temperature: Store cardboard boxes between 5°C and 30°C. Avoid sudden temperature changes in the storage area. Keep the boxes away from any heat source (such as radiators) and protect the cardboard from direct sunlight.
• Controlled humidity: Keep relative humidity between 30% and 70%. Protect cardboard packaging from water. Avoid sudden changes in humidity.
• Clean, dry surface: Store unassembled boxes on pallets or platforms rather than directly on the floor.
• Keep the protective film: Leave the film wrapped around the boxes until the last one has been used.
• Open with care: If you use sharp tools to open the film, be careful not to damage the box.
• Balanced weight: If you are storing unassembled boxes, you can flatten them with a flat object to prevent warping. Remember that corrugated cardboard has a strength limit. Never place heavy objects or pallets on unassembled boxes, and avoid stacking boxes too high on top of each other.
